In 2013 I joined with Mike Marin for Marin Productions to write the script for Steele n' Hope. It was for the action movie challenge in 2013. the goal was to write, film and edit a 15 minute (no longer) action film in 30 days. The plot was developed together in three hours, and I wrote the first draft of the script in 24 hours.
I was very pleased with the story that we finally created, but unfortunately I put way too much story in for a 15 minute movie. Mike spent a lot of time trying to get it down to the 15 minute limit. Unfortunately that caused the film to lack any sort of breathing room between the action beats.
